Repatriation of the corpse
In case of death, our insurance can include the repatriation of the corpse to the home country or to the desired place. Most times the corpse is shipped by plane.
The corpse can be transported in two ways:
In a coffin:
In case that is desired to mantain the corpse, it must be embalmed and transported on an special coffin due to public health reasons because it can be focus of deseases.
The special coffin is composed by two layers. The otside one is like the regular coffins, but thiker. And the inside one its composed by lead or zinc.
In case that the cremation before repatriation is the desired option, the only protocol that has to be followed is to store the ashes on a sealed urn. It has to be declared before entering to the plane.
